Using the service
These terms apply to your use of i2PDF, operated by Sciweavers LLC, USA. By using the service, you confirm that you have read and understood these terms, our Privacy Policy and our Cookie Policy, and agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use it. This agreement does not replace any rights that the law does not allow you to waive.
You must have legal capacity to use the service and agree to these terms. If you are using it for an organization, you must have authority to act for that organization. Minors who may lawfully use the service need appropriate parent or guardian permission.
What we provide
We provide online PDF and document tools, including conversion, editing, page organization, compression, extraction, OCR and translation. Some tools process content on your device; others use temporary server processing. Available features, accepted formats, output formats and limits vary by tool.
The tools are available without registering or signing in. We plan to fund the service through advertising, including Google AdSense. Ads and third-party websites are separate from our document tools; their presence does not mean we endorse their products or claims.
We may change, improve, limit or discontinue a tool, or temporarily restrict access for maintenance, capacity or security. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, a particular processing speed or compatibility with every document.
Your files and permission to process them
You retain ownership of the files and other content you submit, to the extent you held those rights. You confirm that you have the necessary rights and permissions to upload, process, modify and download that content, including any personal information it contains.
You give us a limited permission to receive, copy, transform, transmit and temporarily store your content as needed to carry out the requested operation, provide the result and protect the service. This permission does not transfer ownership of your content or authorize us to sell your documents.
You are responsible for keeping originals and downloading results. The service is not a backup, archive, cloud drive or secure records-management system. We may be unable to recover a file after a request ends. Our Privacy Policy explains information handling.
Use the tools responsibly
- Use only content you are entitled to process. Respect copyright, privacy, confidentiality and other rights.
- Do not submit malware, malicious payloads, unlawful material, or content intended to compromise the service or other people.
- Do not bypass file, page, request or capacity limits, evade security controls, or overload the service with abusive requests.
- Do not use URL or document conversion to access systems or content without authorization.
- Do not scrape, bulk automate or resell access in ways that interfere with the service or circumvent its intended controls. Contact us first about high-volume or integrated use.
- Do not manipulate advertising, generate invalid clicks or impressions, or misrepresent an output as a certification or endorsement by us.
Check the result before you use it
Conversions may change layout, fonts, colors, links, forms, annotations, metadata or other document features. OCR, extraction, comparison and AI translation can omit, misread or invent information. Review the complete output, especially for legal, medical, financial, engineering or other important uses.
Keep an original copy. Check page order, completeness and readability before sharing or replacing a document. A successful download does not certify accuracy, accessibility, legal compliance or suitability for a particular purpose.
A visible signature added with a drawing, image or text tool is not, by itself, an identity verification or certificate-based digital signature. Redaction is different from placing an ordinary shape over text: use the intended redaction tool and verify that sensitive content is removed from the downloaded result. Password protection and permissions also do not guarantee that a document can never be copied or accessed.
External services and links
Certain features may contact public websites or dedicated processing services, including OCR and translation systems. Their availability can affect a result. A website you convert may restrict automated access or change its content, and you remain responsible for permission to use it.
If you follow an ad or external link, the destination has its own terms and privacy practices. We are not responsible for an external provider’s content, offers or transactions. Our Cookie Policy describes advertising and browser storage.
Our website and intellectual property
The website design, branding and original software are owned by us or our licensors. Third-party components remain subject to their own licenses. These terms allow you to use the tools; they do not grant a right to copy our branding, impersonate us or redistribute proprietary parts of the service.
Our rights in the website do not change your rights in your source documents or resulting content.
Availability and responsibility
To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided as available, without a promise that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or suitable for every purpose. You are responsible for deciding whether a tool and its output meet your needs.
To the extent permitted by law, Sciweavers LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential losses resulting from use of, or inability to use, the service, including loss of profits, opportunities or data. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
Restrictions, changes and contact
We may reject requests or restrict access where reasonably necessary to address misuse, security risks, legal obligations or service stability. You can stop using the service at any time; there is no account to close.
We may revise these terms as the service develops. The date above identifies the current version. Material changes will receive additional notice where required by law. Changes apply prospectively, and any mandatory rights under the law that applies to you remain unaffected.
