Open Convert to PDF and choose one supported file. Its format selects a dedicated converter and carries the file into that tool. Our example starts with a PNG image and finishes in PNG to PDF.
Choose one source file
Select one supported file in Convert to PDF. For example, DOCX opens Word to PDF, XLSX opens Excel to PDF and PNG opens PNG to PDF.
The destination opens in the same tab and site language, with the file already selected. You do not need to upload or choose it a second time.
Review the destination’s settings
Check the destination tool and its preview. Each converter has its own supported formats, limits and settings. Read the options that apply to your document.
For our PNG example, keep Fit image and Match image with a margin of 0. This creates a page that follows the image’s proportions. Choose a standard paper size and a margin if you need a print layout instead.
Convert and inspect the PDF
Use the destination tool’s Start action and download its PDF. Open the saved file to check page dimensions, orientation and content.
The example produces one page with the source image’s appearance. Office documents can produce several pages, depending on their original layout and print settings.
Common questions
Can I go straight to a converter I already know?
Yes. Open Word to PDF, Excel to PDF or the matching image converter directly.
Why do different files show different settings?
An image needs page sizing and margins, while an Office document has its own document layout. The selected tool supplies the controls appropriate to that format.
