A few answers to help you choose the right tool.
Edit PDF supports direct editing of suitable selectable text, with font, size, color and alignment controls. Scans, damaged text mappings and some OCR layers cannot be edited reliably this way. The editor checks the selected page before enabling direct text editing.
Edit PDF recognizes supported existing form fields and lets you enter values. Its Forms menu can also add common controls such as text fields, checkboxes and choices. Read-only fields and unusual form structures may need additional handling; review the exported form.
Yes. Save a project in Edit PDF and reopen it through Resume project on the upload screen. Keep the project file on your device. A project preserves editable work; downloading the finished PDF alone is not the same as saving the editing project.
The available controls depend on the tool. Crop PDF and Add Margin to PDF have Apply to all pages options. Edit PDF can copy supported elements to selected pages and keep those copies linked for later updates.
No. Cropping changes the visible page boundary, and an ordinary overlay can leave the original content underneath. Use Redact PDF or the Redact tool in Edit PDF for removal, then check the exported document.
Supported text edits and many page-layout operations preserve selectable text. Image-based effects such as color or scan enhancement can rasterize pages. Check the specific tool guide when text selection, links or form interactivity matter.
