PDF Dark Mode explained
Create a separate PDF for dark-background reading. Choose Turquoise, Midnight, Warm, Deep black, Fuchsia or Lemon, then fine-tune the text and paper colors with a live preview. Compare with the original before converting all pages or a selected range. The downloaded PDF uses your chosen colors and contains page images rendered at a 150/200/300 DPI.

Choose a reading palette, then tune both colors while previewing the current page.
Document colors versus website theme
Turquoise, Midnight, Warm, Deep black, Fuchsia and Lemon provide coordinated text and paper colors. Use the color pickers or six-digit hex fields to fine-tune them; a valid color updates the preview locally without uploading the document. Keep sufficient contrast for small text, and inspect photographs and colored diagrams because the mapping changes all rendered content.
Reverse source tones reverses the original light/dark mapping and can help with an already-dark source. Changing palettes preserves that choice. Use Original and Preview above the page for comparison. Reset restores turquoise text on dark gray and turns tone reversal off.
Pages to include lets you enter a range such as 1-3, 5. Leave it empty for the whole document. Every included page uses the same palette and is rendered at 150/200/300 DPI. This changes the downloaded PDF itself; changing the website theme only affects the interface. Output pages are images, so keep the original for selectable text and interactive content.

Process the whole document or enter specific page numbers and ranges.
Page ranges and numbering
Use PDF positions, starting at 1, rather than numbers printed on the page. A list such as 1, 3-5 includes four pages. A blank range uses every page. Check the preview when the document includes a cover or differently numbered chapters. Only the chosen pages are included in this conversion.

Image output and selectable text
This tool saves the adjusted pages as images in a new PDF at 150/200/300 DPI. Existing text becomes part of those images. It does not create a new searchable text layer or restore detail missing from the source. Use PDF OCR afterward if you need recognized text.

Preview the result before downloading and sharing it.
Preview, download and revise
Select Start when the settings are ready. On the result screen, Preview opens the generated PDF and Download saves a separate copy. Back returns to the current workspace; Start over clears it for a new file. Review small text, page edges and page order in the finished copy. A new PDF does not preserve the validity of an existing digital signature.

Open one PDF up to 50 MB and 200 source pages. Protected files need an unlocked copy unless this tool explicitly offers password entry. Large or complex pages can require more memory or reach processing limits even when the file is within these limits.
Processing uses our servers. Source files, temporary files and results are deleted from our servers within 30 minutes after processing finishes. We do not share document contents with third parties or use them to train AI models.

Server processingDoes this change the PDF or just the website theme?
It creates a new PDF with your chosen reading colors. Turquoise, Midnight, Warm, Deep black, Fuchsia and Lemon are starting palettes; you can customize both colors and compare the live preview with the original. All included pages use the same palette at a 150/200/300 DPI. The output contains page images. The website theme setting only changes the interface.
What are the file and page limits?
