Enter the target in MB; the initial value is 5 MB. The splitter measures generated parts and groups consecutive whole pages without changing their order. The target applies to each PDF inside the ZIP, not to the ZIP download itself. Small parts can remain when few pages are left.
Handle a page larger than the target
A whole page cannot always fit under a very small file-size limit.
Why a part can exceed the limit
If one page alone exceeds the target, it is exported by itself with an oversized indication in its filename. The tool does not cut that page apart or reduce image quality to force the limit. Try Compress PDF first when a strict attachment limit matters, then check the sizes of the split files.

Content quality and interactive features
Text and vector artwork remain in PDF form where supported. The original file on your device is not overwritten. Interactive forms, annotations, links and document-level navigation can behave differently in a newly assembled document, so check the generated PDF before sharing it. Page rearrangement is not redaction of information inside retained pages.

Processing uses our servers. Source files, temporary files and results are deleted from our servers within 30 minutes after processing finishes. We do not share document contents with third parties or use them to train AI models.
